Due to the rapid pace of the growth of our company, we are currently recruiting for a sales representative (full time or part-time). This position will be responsible for marketing and selling classified / article and advertising display ad space and our other services to local businesses and local people on a commission basis (no salary included; 100% of income will come from commissions).  Income opportunities will also be available via online sales and marketing to our established client base.

We are a new National magazine with fresh new opportunities for independent sales representatives in All 50 States!

Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated, energetic and driven individuals to manage and develop new accounts for commission-only, indpendent sales representative positions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Search for potential clients in a designated territory using any tool or reference available.
  • Provide complete reports on all potential clients and enter into company database.
  • Train accounts on products and promotions
  • Assist Accounts Receivable in communicating with your accounts when needed.
  • Achieve annual sales goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and news.
  • Communicate requests and suggestions from your accounts to sales director.

Ideal Canidates have:
  • 2 years Outside Sales experience, possibly representing a magazine or newspaper product
  • Publishing / Printing background preferred but NOT necessary
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong written and verbal and typing skills
  • Exceptional presentation ability
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Positive, friendly and strong personality
  • Ability to use E-Mail and Web Browser

Job Requirements:
  • High Speed Internet Connection
  • Cel or Land-Line Phone is required
  • Fax Machine (Not Required But Very Helpful)
  • Printer and Filing Skills
