Responsible to:

A.Greet and prepare patients for examinations.

B.Assist doctor with GYN procedures, endometrial biopsies, colposcopy and pap smears.

C.Take vital signs, phlebotomy, urinalysis.

D.Sterilize instruments using autoclave, performed pregnancy testing and collect specimens to be sent to the laboratory.

E.Prepare requisition forms and readied tubes for lab, and obtain reports.

F.Answer telephone inquiries, provide necessary info, and document messages.

G.Schedule appointments for new and current patients.

H.Maintain alpha/numeric filing and update charts with patient info.

I.Perform extensive verification of insurance and collection of payments to doctor.
