This Deli is a perfect fit in this established but developing neighborhood.
Having a "mom and pop" feel to it gives one instant comfort and familiarity when dining in. The success of this business is not only in it's location but in its culture of friendliness of the staff and the quality and consistency of its food offerings. In addition to the dining room, the Deli provides for take-out and deliveries, too.
Menu offerings range from typical deli offerings as NY Pastrami, French Dips, Hot meatball and Italian Sausage subs to a Seafood Combo platter, San Diego chicken salad, burgers, breakfasts, open faced sandwiches, sides and desserts.
Deli is open 10 am to 9 pm Monday thru Thursday and Sunday. Friday and Saturday the deli is open until midnight.
The interior of the deli is surprising and not your typical "sub" place. The four comfortably padded booths, all new, can easily seat 6 people at each table.
There are also two tables for eating or for take-out patrons and there is a large comfortable bench, too.
The interior features new carpeting, a walk-up counter for ordering and store front windows. Large framed mirrors are hung throughout the Deli giving it a homey but more upscale feeling.
Has a large open kitchen / prep area and a large storage room / pantry in the rear. There are two large bathrooms and an exterior exit for ease in product receiving. There is ample customer parking, too, right outside the doors.
The most unique feature of this Deli is its counter window through a common wall with Champs, the large tavern and gaming establishment that is adjacent to the Deli. Champ's relies solely on the Deli for its food service and caters to breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night crowds. It is a very successful and lucrative arrangement for both businesses. This is a critical component with bars outlawed from serving food in the same area with smokers - this is a built in goldmine!
The population of the State of Nevada is expected to more than double by 2030 – or the next 14 years with the predominant growth nucleus in Clark County.
The Northeast Las Vegas area will continue to see more development of businesses. There are currently three commercial developments under construction in northeast Las Vegas -- two industrial projects (totaling 24,000 square feet) and one 16,000-square-foot office building.
Anna's Linens, a "value-conscious" home store that sells linens and other home items, has two out of its five valley stores in the northeast.
Timbers Hospitality Group is opening its 10th Las Vegas-area location in northeast Las Vegas next month. Andrew Donner, president of Timbers Hospitality Group, said he expects the restaurant/tavern, located on Lake Mead Boulevard between Nellis and Hollywood boulevards, to be one of his most successful locations. Mr. Donner is presently scoping out other Northeastern Las Vegas sites for future development.
Hollywood Boulevard and surrounding streets have been the sites of numerous upscale housing developments.
The area also lends itself to communities that are more reasonably priced than other areas of the valley. Small builders have bought up infill lots in the northeast and advertise new homes starting at $100,000 -- at a time when the median price for a new home is more than $200,000 – which will make for a rapid buying/selling market.
Large national builder Richmond American Homes has five of its 17 area communities in northeast Las Vegas, and sells houses from under $100,000 to just under $200,000. Dennis Smith of Home Builders Research Inc. said the northeast has always been a more affordable housing market because builders can buy land slightly cheaper than other popular submarkets.
The northeast has more than 105,800 housing units, while Henderson has more than 84,300 housing units and west and northwest Las Vegas have just more than 62,000 housing units per data complied by Applied Analysis.
The overall projection for the northeastern area of Las Vegas is for more development of businesses, more development of residential housing and continuing capitalization of nearby Nellis Air Force Base and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
